Articulation1

The drawing enlarges a knee until it becomes an architecture. Between the bone masses, ligaments and friction surfaces, a female figure appears vertically, as though inhabiting the joint. The anatomy remains recognisable, but its function shifts: the articulation becomes a place, a space of passage between different forms.

Unique piece, handmade in my studio in Amiens, France. Signed certificate of authenticity included.
