Corps visible, corps divisible, corps vécu

From 6 to 28 November 2026, I will present a selection of paintings and India ink drawings at Galerie de l’AAC in Amiens, bringing together different periods of my work.

The exhibition places works from the 1990s in dialogue with recent pieces. Across this selection, concerns that have run through my work from the beginning emerge: the body, its fragmentation, its memory, its transformations, and what may surface beneath its visible appearance.

Earlier and recent works are not presented according to a simple chronology. Their confrontation reveals both continuities and shifts in the way I represent the body: from the visible body to the divisible body, and ultimately to the lived body.

Oil paintings and India ink drawings also bring together two different ways of constructing an image: through layers, overpainting and transparency in painting; through the accumulation of points and lines in drawing.
