Crucifixion

A central figure appears caught within a network of bodies, limbs and organic masses. The title directs the reading towards the iconography of the Crucifixion, yet the image does not seek to reproduce its traditional representation. The crucified body is barely distinguishable from its surroundings: it belongs to an entanglement in which the boundaries between figure, anatomical fragments and organic forms become uncertain.
