Motherhood

The title points towards motherhood, yet the image does not directly depict a mother and child. Instead, it proceeds through fragmentation: curves, sharp points, dark masses and organic forms interlock within a dense construction. Several elements suggest fragments of bodies without ever resolving into a stable anatomy. Motherhood thus becomes less a scene than a space of tension, circulation and transformation between forms.
