Ora serrata

A seated body occupies the centre of a cathedral-like architecture formed by a respiratory column. Two fixed eyes loom above it like a mask, while two wing-like forms frame the figure. Below, a biological cross-section of the eye serves as its seat. The body inhabits the organ that looks at it. Vision becomes an interior space.

Unique piece, handmade in my studio in Amiens, France. Signed certificate of authenticity included.
