Fold 4

A compact figure folds in on itself. The face, turned downwards, remains partly visible, caught within the mass of the body. The painted matter thickens and blurs the anatomical boundaries: flesh, limbs and painted surface begin to merge. The fold becomes both posture and envelope, a way for the body to contain itself while remaining exposed.
