Folds 3

A tightly folded body occupies almost the entire canvas. Reds and browns concentrate the figure around a dark centre. The face disappears: the posture alone carries the body’s presence. Folded inward, constrained and almost absorbed by the painted matter, the figure seems to be searching for a way to hold itself together. It protects itself as much as it exposes itself.
