A body folds in on itself, its back curved and its head bowed. The posture is more than a position: it becomes a way of containing itself. The body seeks a form of stability, as though protecting itself at the very moment the painting exposes it. The material extends this movement. Layers, overpainting and transparencies build a pictorial skin around the figure, where some forms emerge while others remain buried. The folded posture thus engages the boundary between inside and outside, between what the body reveals and what it holds within.
