An eye emerges within a network of sharp, vertical forms. The surrounding space suggests both architecture and an inner landscape, more urban and angular than in the recent drawings. The gaze already becomes autonomous: the eye no longer necessarily belongs to an identifiable face or body. It becomes a motif in its own right, around which the image is organised.
