The proposal

Two figures face one another against an ochre background. Their bodies occupy almost the entire space and draw together around a hand gesture that connects them at the centre of the composition. The title suggests a request, an invitation or something being offered to the other, without specifying its nature. The image preserves this ambiguity: the physical proximity between the two figures is evident, yet their relationship remains unresolved.
