India ink drawing, dot by dot
The drawing unfolds slowly. In India ink, dots and lines reveal fragmented bodies, organic forms and inner architectures. The image takes shape through successive densities. White space remains active: a reserve, a breath, sometimes a void.
I begin with a dry-pencil drawing that establishes the main structures without determining everything. The ink comes next, dot by dot, line by line. I work through accumulation, varying density rather than using washes.
This slowness is part of the process. Forms gradually emerge: anatomical fragments, folds, membranes, architectures and motifs drawn from living forms. Some areas remain open. The paper is never entirely covered; its white surface takes part in the construction of the image.
